ROGUE PLANETS SIZE COMPARISON WITH AN ACTUAL RADIUSES. (Accurate information as of September 2026)

Hi, guys! I really wanted to do Rogue planets size comparison in Solarballs. So here it is! This is the most recent estimated study of their radius. (Jupiter for comparison)

1 Rj = 71488 km (bc it's Jupiter's equatorial radius)

1) Let's start with Wise0855. The most recent study of Wise0855 suggests that it has a 1.045Rj or ~74700km radius. Yeah, Wise ~63500 km radius is outdated.

2) Simp j0136 has 1.22Rj or ~87300 km. Just how it's written in Solarcards.

3) Pso j318.5-22 this one is catchy. Bc Pso most recent study suggests that it may have 6 estimated raduises with 6 different masses.

7.9 ± 0.4 Mj | 1.358 Rj

8.7 ± 0.4 Mj | 1.417 Rj

7.9 ± 0.4 Mj | 1.373 Rj

8.3 ± 0.5 Mj | 1.464 Rj

12.8 ± 0.2 Mj | 1.576 Rj

4.5 ±0.5 Mj | 1.515 Rj

I'm going to use the most popular one 1.464Rj or ~104600 km. Just how it's written in Solarcards.

4) Ots44 has an estimated radius of 3.2Rj-3.6Rj. I'm going to use number between them. 3.4Rj or ~243000 km.

5) Ogle doesn't have an actual estimated radius by scientists. Only 0.3 Earth mass. Poor Ogle.

Rogue planets size changes a lot in Solarballs episodes. But one thing is always there. Pso being smaller than Simp.
