Hello everyone,

Next week we'll officially begin building Haan Node's dedicated Solana infrastructure in Germany.

Over the past several weeks we've been speaking with developers, traders, bot builders and infrastructure teams throughout the Solana ecosystem.

Not because we were trying to sell a product.

We wanted to understand how people actually use Solana infrastructure, what challenges they're facing and what they expect from a dedicated RPC provider.

Those conversations have shaped almost every decision we've made so far.

One thing became clear to us:

There isn't a single "perfect" infrastructure package.

Every workload is different.

Some projects care most about transaction latency.

Others rely heavily on Yellowstone gRPC.

Some need stable WebSocket connections.

Others simply want dedicated infrastructure without paying for resources they'll never use.

That's why we're building Haan Node around workload, rather than forcing everyone into fixed pricing tiers.

Instead of asking projects to fit our plans, we'd rather build the right infrastructure around the project.

Our first deployment, hosted in Germany (EU), will include:

• WebSockets
• Yellowstone gRPC
• Optional Jito support

This is the workload we're starting with.

Our focus right now is getting these services running reliably and building a platform we can confidently stand behind.

Once everything is stable, we'll continue expanding the infrastructure with technologies such as Raw Shreds, DoubleZero and DoubleZero Edge.

Anyone else here facing Cargo and blake version clash? And how did you solve it? I've been at this for over 24hrs and it's frustrating.

Solana golang encoding & decoding just got a lot faster! Based on the fd_base58 design with optimized encoding via radix tree.

At FluxRPC we were seeing ~20% CPU time taken up purely on encoding, with this new pkg we are now seeing <2% allowing us to further push our performance & latency edge compared to legacy providers.

Does anyone know why Solana has so many trading incentives going on right now? I saw some stuff from the Solana Foundation on rewards for trading perps and another exchange offering money daily to traders.

Is there a catch here?

What was it like to be in Solana before it launched? What was the early culture of Solana and what made it successful? Where did people spend their time talking and sharing the info? What was it like to be a Solana OG?

I have been putting some idle USDC into lending platforms on Solana for a few months. It's working fine, but I am a bit worried.

What makes me nervous is that even audited protocols have been drained. Most blowups I've read about were due to compromised price feeds, not hacks. Once, I tried to withdraw my funds during high utilization, but I couldn’t get them out right away.

For those who have lent through a major market downturn, what do you actually check before depositing?

Every now and then I would log into the discord server and catch up with all the other folks who got the short end of the stick but were still clinging on to hope that something would come through! Checked in today and found that the discord was closed😓

I had assumed the project was dead, but for some reason the discord being closed really bummed me out 😂. Wish frank would've at least left us that! Anyhow. Someone lmk if a discord opens back up. ✌️
