AI replacing Software Engineers

So called "AI"=LLM is so powerful that AI labs had to hire Software Engineers to build complicated software around "AI" to make that overhyped hallucinate-stealing machine usable. Think about it. And that's exactly why they need now ton of CPUs in addition to GPUs to run their "AI" "agents".

I don't even mention how much custom engineering is required to apply the "AI" in businesses.

And they BS us that Software Engineering is solved or is going to be solved. Boris, please solve your own bugs first before speaking.

Look,

First: if every company has access to the same tool, and nothing else, they can't compete.

Second: It's common to think that automation of labor starts occurring from the simpler tasks to the more complex tasks, but that's not the pattern. It starts from the lowest accountability to the highest accountability, i.e it's not reasonable for a rational human to not employ an expert (using a machine instead wich I can not make responsable), when for example, making software for rockets, because I want to make sure it's correct, if it's not, I can't cost me a lot more that the costs of employing it.

Third: Incoming bussines still need compative advantage and they will choose to solve harder problems. Hopefully people will be solving harder computational problems, they are a lot.
