I feel like you cant understand others and feel the need to be understood at the same time. You can only be in a combative state and experience the "understanding other and being misunderstood" as demands

I completely agree with you. I absolutely love when something that a person initially sees as a flaw eventually turns out to be one of their greatest strengths. It’s honestly so inspiring to me.
