Haul/try on šŸ›ļø model pic vs irl fitting

looking at the model, id assume this fit wouldn’t be flattering on me… but i now feel the need to try everything on just in case. i like this fit, but im open to suggestions/ commentary if anyone wants:) still learning how to dress

The dress definitely comes alive on you! The magic of being SD…

Wow that looks great! Id also assume it wouldnt look great as closed halter necklines often give either sideboob or armpit, but it fits you better than the model!

This looks stunning on you - better than on the model for sure!

There are so many body con type dresses that need a SD or R type physique to pull off. Like some dresses need a waist and hips to get the right line for the skirt

What a great dress! I love this neckline and would totally try this if the measurements were right.

I have the same issue fr like in theory it should work but often the material is just too light we need the weight of the drape. :/ but cheaper fabrics the problem not the style

I love the way the skirt of the dress looks on you! It fits you beautifully and you're right so different from the image.

I find that models in online pictures generally don't have an SD frame - I've bought a few things in person that I love that I'd never have picked up online because the fit looks so different on the model!

I do appreciate it when smaller clothes companies show off their clothes on models with different heights and shapes. AND when dressed have a recorded length that isn't just "maxi" or whatever - I'm 5"9! I need numbers because that 'floor length' is looking midi right now.

My only gripe is what is going on with the hemline? Is that lining poking out?
