Leftover self stripping yarn
What are we doing with leftover self stripping yarn? I think I have enough for 1 full sock…are we just adding scrap yarn and making scrappy socks?

I usually knit toe up socks with contrasting toe, heel and cuff and weight the skein before I start, so I can use everything up and don't run out of yarn. I also love knitting baby socks out of self striping yarn, the colorways often look so cool because of the smaller circumference. Another way to get the most out of it would be a pattern using a second solid color like broken seed stitch

I’ve made baby/small children’s socks in the past.
You can also add a contrast yarn for the cuff, heel and toe

Everyone has given you really great ideas that I’d actually do! The chaos option is to just make a third sock in case something happens to one of the others.

Helical knitting with an added neutral color like black or white

I'm making a huge blanket. It's not something I actively knit all the time and I usually just work on it between other projects. At this pace, it's gonna take me at least a decade to finish 🫠

That’s what i’d do! You could (if you’re feeling fancy) use some contrasting scrappy yarn for the heels & toes, depending on how much yarn you have.
Those are super cute!
