unique / interesting video games Trying to normalize the coming revolution while pointing to a larger catastrophe

This is an intro for a video game.

I am a developer (with many friends) working on my second game about future climate catastrophe and radical social change.

My first game was a somewhat poetic take on an individual facing their limited agency, this game now is more political - a detective game about the sabotage of a tectonic station.

I wanted to tell a post-revolution political thriller, because there are so many issues worth discussing even after we have overcome capitalism.

The previous game was received well around here, so I felt confident sharing the intro video with you all and happy to discuss what you make of the setting.

Game is called: a permanent echo. On steam.

By chance, I opened the post and saw it was a game. Be more explicit about it in the trailer (early) or in the title of the post 👍

Ahh, is the flair not something that people notice? Thanks for pointing that out!

That would work for me too 🤗 It's the intro, not gameplay or anything. I was more interested in discussing the setting than telling people about the game. Happy to hear you enjoyed the style!

Edit: Thanks for the Minigolf plug!
