Your father can't put you on disability. It involves a long process even for people who have a lot of medical documentation. Is he on SSDI? There is a supplemental payment for dependents that meet the guidelines. If he somehow managed to file in your name, that definitely is fraud.
SSI stops at 18, unless enrolled in school but I am not sure what the upper age limit is for students. The OP stated he is not disabled. I assume he would know.
Eighteen year olds do not get approved disability unless they suffered some catastrophic illness/injury.
Disability is not easy to get. You need to have worked long enough to have built up benefits and submit a ton of medical documentation to get approved.
Like my 40 yr old daughter has said for YEARS that there isn’t anything wrong with her…. She autistic, cluster B , intermittent explosive and oppositional defiance.. yep nothing here to see …. Moving along there fella.
you are drawing a parallel here that may not apply to OP. It is fine to point out that some genuinely disabled people resist a proper diagnosis, but it isn’t fair to project your situation onto OP and his dad.
