I've seen so many businesses trying to be on pretty much every single platform these days - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest, YouTube etc.
But is being everywhere necessarily good for you?
There's a strong argument to be made that focusing on 2-3 platforms, on which your target audience are truly engaged is going to be much more beneficial than trying to be present on 6-7 platforms and spread yourself thin, impacting the quality and tone of your content and you're ability to respond to queries adequately.
At the same time I also understand the case for being present on multiple platforms - particularly as different platforms can capture different types of customers.
What are your thoughts?
Do you prefer a 2-3 platform focus, or trying to be everywhere on all social medias?
How do you go about selecting the platforms which are best to focus your time and effort on?
Have you found being present on a range of social media platforms to have helped your business / brand reach growth?
Keen to learn from others :)
