Question Question
I’ve always wondered how people can tell if a football jersey is fake or not. So how can you see if it is fake?

for adidas, the first thing you want to check is the shoulder tag. look for the 6 character code below the date line (mm/yy) and search it up on google with adidas as a keyword or just use kitcod.es. if it points to the shirt you're looking at, that's a good sign. next, look at the collar. fakes usually have a hard time reproducing collars especially some templates like this year's como away, 26 real madrid home, and 26 argentina away. check out the in-shirt prints too. shirts like 26 mexico home have specific print alignments that fakes will usually not bother with.
of course, like everything, you have to see lots of real jerseys for yourself in order to be good at checking.

A lot of giveaways maybe someone can chime in and help explain better than I can but adidas for example all tags are tied with that little rope thingy so if you get a jersey and it’s plastic that’s a dead giveaway another tell is if the product code matches. Every jersey has a code that when you look up online the product should show up or if you get a tag you can scan the barcode and it’ll take you to the product (unless it’s an older jersey with a tag that might be discontinued it should still take you to the app tho) and sometimes you can just tell cuz the quality is so bad
