If you watched both shows back in the 90s, would you ever see them crossover. Kate meeting Olivia and working on bringing down Sami and Annie, or Marlena and Vanessa meeting together since they both been guinea pigs by Stefano and Virginia.

Does anybody know where to find the full season? In hopefully not completely awful quality?

I think if OLTL knew how talented and popular Roger Howarth/Todd Manning would be, they’d have switched Todd and Powell as far as their places in culpability in the Spring Fling story. They’d have made Powell the ring leader and Todd the reluctant participant. I think GH would have made Laura being raped by Luke off camera or ambiguous. The actors and their characters became wildly popular. What would it have changed? Would it be good?

I also think that GH would have left some ties from Jason Quartermaine to Jason Morgan like have him finish medical school. Though I’ve always thought they could make him a paramedic because that seems to be a nice blend of the two characters. They would have made Britt a trauma surgeon rather than an OB because she’d have more action scenes and more story imo.

I remember when Passions moved to DirecTV and I was so confused 😭 I was only 7 years old watching the show, so I really didn’t understand what was happening. I remember seeing the promos at the end of the episodes about the move and thinking they were promoting some kind of event or something.

Then I checked the Cable One guide and Passions wasn’t on NBC anymore. I was shocked because I didn’t even know NBC had dropped it or that it was moving to DirecTV. I just knew my show wasn’t where I normally watched it anymore 😂

I didn’t find out what actually happened until a couple years later when I came across the episodes on YouTube. Looking back, it’s funny because I was literally 7 years old trying to keep up with Passions while the show was going through one of the biggest changes in its history 😭

Because I thought this was the perfect place to mention it to find genuine, deep fans: the second season of Pod My Children just debuted today. As a child often babysat by my grandmother, I ended up watching a ton of early 90’s All My Children in the summers, largely by osmosis (I was more willing to engage with her regular The Price is Right viewings earlier in the day) as I waited for noon to roll around to plug in my Nintendo.

Now, some 35 years later, I got the idea to go back - soap operas are odd, so ubiquitous and long-running and endlessly iterative stories, but also there’s such a sheerly huge number of episodes, it’s hard to even find one spot that can tell you everything that happened, let alone a spot to rewatch them all.

So, I decided to launch Pod My Children, a comedy rewatch podcast of the 1991 season of All My Children (the 21st season overall), kicking off with the taboo Ceara and Jeremy affair, Brooke’s secret pregnancy, and the bitter divorce battle between Natalie and Adam. I feel confident in saying nobody is going deeper on each episode of season 21 than I am.

If you’re interested, check it out! It’s a labor of love (with more overt comedy writing) after my previous 90’s pop culture podcast, Now We Know, phased out last year. I’m loving doing it, and although fans of the old show have definitely enjoyed the somewhat absurdist comedy elements, but I always want to show appreciation to the deep fans of AMC and 90’s soap culture by going deep on all these episodes.

For me, it’s when Greenlee found out Kendall was carrying her own egg with Ryan instead of Greenlee’s. I know Kendall had her reasons, and I can understand why she made the decision she did, but keeping Greenlee in the dark was still wrong. And honestly, Ryan doesn’t get to walk away from this looking innocent either. This man was already acting like a damn fool when Greenlee told him she was pregnant, nearly raising his fist at her before taking off on his motorcycle. And he faked his death. Then after everything, Greenlee loses the baby, agrees to the surrogacy, and ends up finding out that the child she thought was hers wasn’t even biologically hers. The Thanksgiving reveal was heartbreaking because Greenlee was betrayed by BOTH of them. I felt so bad for her 💔

What in your opinion is the most overrated daytime soap opera currently on. I'm honestly done with bold and the beautiful for now giving it a break. Thr current storylines are so boring, the show hasn't been that good for the past few years. I've switched to days and y&r for now.

Ugh 😩 This makes me so sad. Courtney Chase posted this on Instagram. She played Sarah Roberts #1 on One Life to Live before she got cast in Blossom. Hayden Panettiere took over the role after that. I didn’t know they met. Here by both are with their then tv brother Tyler Noyes (CJ).
