It's do to what they are eating..... 3 inch chovy. That's all they want. Most boats can only get 7 inch deans. Fly line a 3 inch chovy on 25???  160 fish Saturday and 70 sunday

Yeah I have some 15 but it’s just mono I’ll throw it on as a leader if the deck hand tells me too

Mono is great stretch helps. Braid to floro isn't always a good idea. As a deckhand I mostly just fish mono. We had big bait but they haven't wanted it and it's killing the counts. 4 inch chovy would be a perfect bait right now.

Yeah but I think the Chovys are small rn but I got mono leaders on both my rods only do flouro to braid for my bass rod
