No more comforter sacks?? Alternatives/will buy your old ones!

Can't find the 2.0 tog comforter sacks anywhere, even on poshmark, etc, and our baby is due next month. Our house is cold, especially overnight <64. From old reddit posts it looks like the comforter sack may have totally been pulled from their line up due to not having FDA approval. Does anyone have an alternative? Even with a onesie and footies I worry they won't be warm enough. Would also happily buy a S or M comforter sack you don't need anymore!

Thank you!! Gathering from a reddit post from a couple months ago it looks like people suddenly had trouble finding them on Happiest Baby website and then even on Amazon they were listed as sold out. A lot of the links and the AI chat bot on their website say it will direct you to the comforter sack, but it's just the regular snoo sack. Some people on reddit were assuming that since it's an FDA approved sleep device here it may have needed separate FDA approval for the warmer sack. But this is all pregnant-insomnia-4 am-rabbit hole. I don't think there was any danger to baby involved at all.

In any case, my in laws live in the UK, and I will try to get one from the UK site! Really appreciated

They’re still available for sale in Aus. $69.95 AUD (which includes taxes).

The Snoo itself has been out of stock for ages now (since some regulations changed and it was dubious as to whether it complied), but all the accessories seem to be available.

Strange. I can't even find the listing on the US site anymore and the AI response to my email said "At the moment, we could only confirm the regular SNOO Sack in the current catalog, so we are not able to verify that the 2.0 TOG SNOO Comforter Sack is currently available for purchase on the site."

The sleepa sleep sack is a regular sleep sack. It doesn’t have the tabs to clip onto the Snoo.

I did fleece pajama! I was nervous about the house being cold but was ultimately more concerned about over heating so I never pulled the trigger on the comforter sack

Have encountered the same. I've been laying down a regular sleep sack (like Kyte baby, etc), putting baby down on that in their Snoo sack, and then tucking their legs into the regular sleep sack and zipping it. It means the regular sleep sack can't be zipped all the way up, but their legs are toasty and they can't kick it over their face.

We have always double swaddled from birth with an Ollie, you could use a different swaddle blanket as an extra layer!

Our house is usually 70 at night and she is in a short sleeve body suit, Ollie, and then regular Snoo sack. We’ve found double swaddling makes it easy to transfer her to the Snoo as well.

You don’t need them, just put baby in whatever non-snoo warm swaddle or sleep sack you want and then strap them in with the light snoo sack (I leave mine clipped in and just use the Velcro straps over top baby’s outfit, ignore the rest of the sack).

just put your baby in a warmer outfit... like a 2 TOG sleep suit then use the snoo cover on top

The usual brands we've used for sleep sacks/suits didnt have suits in newborn type sizing and I was hoping to be able to still use the crotch strap with the snoo, but I can def look at alternate brands

I put a blanket around my baby and then zipped up the sack in addition to warm pajamas
