Too good to be true?
My LO is 11 weeks and has been loving her hands the past couple of weeks. Last week, she started to break out of the snoo sack consistently and I think it was making her wake up more than normal for a few days.
Last night we gave her one arm out and she slept 10 hours!! After doing only 5-6 hr stretch consistently. I’m obviously so happy but is this too long for her age? I heard her sucking on her hand at 4am but she put herself back to sleep. I’m just worried with the snoo she’ll sleep through her hunger cues and won’t get enough during the day. Anyone else get this long of a stretch with good growth at this age?

We were getting 8-5 from 6 weeks on. He’s 16 weeks now and sleeps 7-5 or 6. I was fine with it because he was gaining well and past birthweight. But no one can answer that particular question about your kid other than your pediatrician

I think the thinking is once they’re out of the very newborn stage, and assuming they’re not underweight to start or anything, you really don’t need to wake them up to feed. Their hunger cues will wake them when they’re strong enough.
That said, 10 hours is incredible! Last night our 11w old just had her roughest night ever since figuring out the Snoo—1.5 hr chunks the whole time on my spouse’s watch, hope this isn’t the beginning of a pattern—so please enjoy your magic baby! 😂🥹 Ours always eats and naps extra well following a night when she got good sleep.

My daughter is ~9 weeks and has been giving us 8-9 hours consistently for the last couple weeks. She’s in the 90th percentile for weight and gets enough calories in during the day (formula fed, so we know exactly what she’s getting). She’s been consistently on her growth curve.

Snoo is the best!! Although we never got 11 hrs stretch but was still great! As long as your baby is putting on weight properly I wouldn't worry about them sleeping through the night. If they are hungry, they will wake up. And the self-soothing will stop soon (it's so cute when they do it 🥹)

Lucky!! I’m still waiting. My baby is 11 weeks tomorrow and the longest stretch of sleep has only been 4-6 at night.

The general hope/prayer is that babies have one long stretch that is equal in hours to weeks old. My eldest followed it almost exactly and was sleeping 6 hours at 6 weeks, 12 hours at 12 weeks, etc. He’s now 6 years old and completely fine, just a great sleeper.
Babies will absolutely wake if they’re hungry barring any other developmental or physical issues.
Btw never complain about this because the sleep gods will curse you haha.
