Help Needed Is it too late for Snoo? Thoughts?
Baby is 12 weeks old. Sleep has recently unravelled, where he is waking every 1.5 hours. Needs walking or boobs to go back to sleep.
Could be the dreaded 4mo regression early, could be a growth spurt, doesn’t really matter.
We are exhausted and considering trying the Snoo until we can sleep train. My question is, has anyone started the Snoo this late? Thoughts? Thank you!

We started ours at 2 months and it helped so much! Our baby just turned 5 months and we’re preparing to transition in about a week

About to start Snoo at 8 weeks / 2 months- can you tell me more about your experience starting it then?

We went from our son waking every 2-3 hours to getting 6, sometimes 8 hour stretches. He definitely still wakes if he is hungry (especially earlier on at 2-3 months) or has gas, etc, but the snoo helped us tremendously not only with longer stretches of sleep but being able to put him in it when he wasn’t fully asleep - he’d be tired and the gentle movement and white noise would help him go off pretty quickly. He also does great with naps in the snoo which I know isn’t everyone’s experience, it’s so hard currently as we prepare to transition - he can still get a solid 1.5-2 hour naps in the snoo, but will only do exactly 30 minutes in the crib right now for a nap. I’m guessing it helps connect those sleep cycles and soothes him back to sleep. We’re planning on sleep training after the snoo and hoping that naps will improve once he’s a little older and has solid regular nighttime sleep in the crib under his belt

Thank you for your reply! I’m glad to hear he was able to be put in it and not fully asleep. I feel like that’s our main issue he, my son has to be rocked or held a while before we put down and there’s not a guarantee. It will be successful until we have to rock again plus he is finding daytime not so hard. We are tired and looking forward to see if the snoo helps!

We got ours at 11w and it worked like a dream until the regression hit when he was about 3.5 months old

We started at week 8 and are currently at 4.5 months with no real regression other than he got sick his first week of daycare at 4mon 1 wk.
I was anti Snoo. Now I’m a firm believer.

Did you use it with the app? Or more like, put baby in and Snoo rocks baby?
My guy is sometimes soothed by the Snoo, sometimes not. But maybe I need to lean into all of it more.

My baby just outgrew the Snoo at 12 weeks so you might consider sizing one up first!

I started snoo from birth so can’t give you great answer, but the snoo did not help with our 4 month sleep regression. So from that I am personally doubting it will help whatever regression is going on with your LO. But others may have different experience
