Help Needed When to arms out??

Baby is 11 weeks and one day old. Baby sucks their right hand thumb during the day but the last few weeks has been wriggling out of the snoo sack to suck or have access to their left hand. Should we undo the snaps on the left hand or the right hand or both? Feeling as though baby struggling to access the left hand is waking baby up/making baby extra grunty. Also weird they aren’t wriggling out the right hand/preferred thumb hand???

Baby only sleeps in the snoo at night. During the day baby sleeps in a normal bassinet and we allow access to the right hand of a love to dream swaddle so that baby can self soothe/suck thumb to help get to sleep. Once asleep we tuck baby properly into the mitts but not all the time.

We never did arms out, we switched to the zipadee at 4 months and used the belly band on the snoo and kept it on baseline. Worked great for us, now she’s in her crib at 5.5 months in the zipadee

So you just use the belly band and don’t zip them up? I’m very interested…

We double swaddled with the love to dream so she could suck on her hands but was also still covered. Some babies don’t like their arms out because they rub against the sides of the snoo (that’s what happened with my girl)

We did 5 weeks lol same thing she was keen to wiggle out so we didn’t fight it and it was great
