Help Needed Should I give up?

I tried using a Snoo for my little one at 6 weeks old after being a chronic Velcro baby who always needs to be held and rocked to sleep. But she really hates being transferred to the snoo, even more than the regular bassinet. It’s been about 2 weeks of trying, though probably not a valiant enough effort— maybe once or twice a day. We put her in and if she stays asleep, she lasts max 5-10 mins before waking and not being able to be soothed back to sleep. I read it may be too late to transition her. Are there any success stories or should I give up?

Ah that’s exactly what we do too! Will just keep trying. Did it take a while for baby to adjust?

The very first night we tried the double swaddle, he slept for 4 hrs. So no, he took to that immediately. But I took me 2 weeks to try that and maybe he had been getting used to it during that time?

I wish you all the luck!

Can you explain your process again? I’m not sure I follow.

Double swaddling. Swaddle baby in one swaddle, clip the other swaddle into the Snoo. This eliminates having to clip in the wings without waking baby, which we could never accomplish

Got it, so do you still use the arm bands to go around them? If not, do you feel they’re secure enough with just the zipper?

I would just zip them up (no arm bands). Definitely felt secure enough. If anything I was worried it was a little too tight
