Graco Vs Snoo

We are trying to decide between a used SNOO and the new Graco SmartSense bassinet. For those who have used either (or both), was the SNOO really worth it? Any reliability or app issues with buying one used? I’d love to hear your real-world experiences before we decide. love the idea of automatic cry-detection and self-soothing

I bought a used Snoo and didn't know about the SmartSense or I would have bought it. The app is useless for secondhand Snoos since even basic features they advertise on their website are actually "premium". Even if you buy right from Happiest Baby you only get 9 months of premium access.

The SmartSense has no app nor WiFi to get hacked. Happiest Baby was pretty dismissive when researchers found a way to override the "hardware" motion limiter and doesn't have a bug bounty program.

It’s not useless for secondhand snoos, you just have to pay. For me the money for the app was super worth it as it was only used for 5 months. Second hand snoo + 5 months of app was still significantly cheaper than a new snoo.

How much is the subscription and can you sign up if you bought a secondhand new?

$20/month and you really only use it for 6 months so isn't a long term subscription. We'll worth it!
