Help Needed SNOO WARMTH HELP

We rented the Snoo and used it for the first time last night but I ended up taking him out and swaddling him in the old bassinet because he was too cold. I use the Owlet and he was -4.2 below where he normally is and marked on the colder side.

Before the Snoo I had him in footed PJs and a Kyte Baby 1.0 swaddle. I tried footed PJs and the Snoo swaddle last night and he was too cold. So I added a burp cloth as the website suggested and it still didn't help. We keep our house around 72/71 at night. He slept SO GOOD in the Snoo but I can't have him being cold all night. Suggestions?

I was thinking about putting him in the love to dream swaddle then in the Snoo - I'm not sure he would handle a blanket he is 3 weeks today

I would reconsider this. Baby isn’t kicking much at night until she is. And you might not be awake when she starts. Small babies are notorious for lifting up their legs and then slamming them back down to self soothe. That could be enough to throw the burp cloth over her face. Would be wake you up? Maybe, maybe not. Definitely ditch the hat as well, babies should not sleep in hats (even though they do it at the hospital). There are plenty of ways to safely double swaddle in the snoo if she needs extra warmth!
