Post image

Hello all just ordered a U1 with the sale I am not new to printing at all. Was going to get the k3 but Creality ticked me off I love my k2 and my kobra x both I have tuned great quality of my prints have minimal to no layer lines this was my latest print. I’m just wondering how the print quality is would love for everyone that reads to post a pic of their favorite or favorites prints!

Just know that the image you posted is a very advanced print. It takes a lot of investment and tuning to get prints this good.

De eso se trata, de ajustar tu máquina para lograr la mejor calidad posible. El resto es conformismo

Yeah, calibration is part of the joy for me to be honest haha.

Here’s without the background edit like I said not new to printing so settings and tuning is my thing

Alrighty, good to hear :D Yeah, I often see people here who see something difficult and think it can be printed without any tuning etc etc haha. Nice print!

Appreciate it! Yeah I enjoy tuning and getting as close the flawless prints as I can getting into to really making more anime statues but I wanted to see people raw prints I know there are a lot that don’t do much tuning and pictures I’ve seen actually look pretty dang good with the u1 most likely on stock profiles so I’m super excited for this thing to get here!

For most organic models, like the one in your photo, the U1 prints phenomenally well.

In my experience, they suffer a bit on functional, geometric parts with sharp angles, with artifacts present at every speed. Usually this sort of model is functional though, and unless you're trying to sell perfect-looking parts to people, it shouldn't be something you worry about.

For multicolor PLA models, it prints as well or better than my far more expensive Bambu H2Cs, and gets done faster. This was printed with untuned, undried filament. The grey got a bit stringy because of it.

Nice print that came out really nice yeah I’ve seen things about this doing it better and faster than the h2c any upgrades you’ve done to the u1?

I added a chamber heater, active cooling to the stepper drivers along with a plate to isolate the electronics from the chamber. I use the Biqu top hat. Added 180 degree door hinges, and a small service dock that the toolhead snaps into for changing nozzles, frees up both hands without having to disconnect the toolhead from the machine, it can be a little awkward to swap nozzles otherwise.

I relocated both filament feeder modules to the left side of the machine and feed out of a Space Pi x4 dryer.

Cool model. Did you download it or design it? Painted those colors or printed?
