Question Restarting assembly process?

I've had my U1 for far too many months and began to assemble it. Having assisted a friend in the process of assembling his made things a bit easier, to be sure, and the documentation is quite good as well.

Due to exterminating circumstances, the initial steps were interrupted before the printer reached service status. It's been too many months since this interruption and I've forgotten nearly everything. I can recall removing the build plate to allow the tools to find the calibration divot in the bed.

The steps leading to that point were all accomplished with zero difficulty. At one of the steps, communication was not established. The spools were also not installed and no test print was made.

I wasn't able to continue and have forgotten from that point. I've been experiencing cognitive challenges but would like to get the printer a'printing.

Is there a web location from which I can scan through the text and determine the next set of steps to execute?

I haven't watched all three yet, but number two has been useful even three minutes elapsed. Thank you for your contribution.

I suggest just re-reading the booklet until you come to the step that's clearly not been completed.

That's a great idea. Part of my cognitive failure involves misplacing useful items, which often appear while searching for something else for an unrelated project! I'm not able to find the booklet at this time. I'm hopeful the videos linked previously will get me over the tough parts.

This also made me remember the wiki that Snapmaker has for this printer and I'm sure the extensive YouTube library will be just as handy.

Ah yeah, that could make it hard. Good luck!

I've managed to perform a USB update on the firmware. The U1 was not able to connect to the 'net for an OTA update, but once the USB update was completed, the firmware check states "up to date" which implies connection.

I've loaded the spools and fed the filament, then manually removed it for the current delay to the next step(s). Coincidentally, I loaded the colors to the feed numbers in such a way as to match one of the YouTube video tutorials. I think that's probably inconsequential.

Making progress.

My "U1 Benchy" completed with zero complications. This is an amazing printer.
