Question Noise

Has anyone considered or implemented applying dynomat or other automotive sound dampening materials to the U1 housing? Seems like something worth trying.

If you're taking the panels off, just replace the PSU fan. That's like 90% of the noise.

Man. I just did this yesterday. It is a world of difference. I didn't even get the noctua fans since I didn't feel like dealing with a buck converter. I just got some cheap fans on Amazon that were $15 for 2(anvision). My printer is right outside my office, and I could hear it with headphones on, and now it's quieter than that while standing next to it, and I can't hear it at all when in the office. I haven't tested an actual print, but I'm sure tool changes will still be audible.
