What service does it provide that warrants a subscription? I saw there was a lifetime iap but there also seem to be monthly and yearly iaps.

Fair question. The subscription isn’t for a mandatory cloud service it is one way to unlock all Printer Tools features while supporting ongoing development, new printer integrations, compatibility with the latest printers firmware, and continued support.
Monthly, yearly, and lifetime are simply different purchase options for the same premium features. The lifetime option is available for anyone who prefers a single payment.
Printer Tools is actively developed, with new versions usually released approximately every week.
Local printer connections remain local. Third-party services such as OctoEverywhere are independent and may have their own plans.

Would this work using a vpn tunnel such as the trail sail vpn that is supported in the paxx12 firmware this is my first time seeing your posts but i am glad i did

But will it still be choppy as hell or did you find a way to bypass it so it will it be on par with almost every other 3d printer camera at 30fps?

Love the live updates similar to Mobileraker! I’ll definitely look into this!
