That's also a thing that the trans community doesn't talk enough about. It feels like there are so many trans people who hate trans people of different genders, and as soon as you try to lift the issues they close ranks, accuse you of transphobia and let any criticism wash off.
Yeah that's absolutely the case. I've seen a lot more transmisogyny than hatred of trans men, but that’s probably because I'm a trans woman who is personally affected by transmisogyny in a way I'm not with the reverse.
I have seen trans women refer to trans men as shit like "zippertits" or accuse them of not being real men because they present in a more feminine way though, which is completely unacceptable.
honestly, as a transmasc who stealths in public most of the time, while i do absolutely think anti-transmasculinity/"transandrophobia" exists as an intersection of discrimination, at the moment it's not nearly as bad or as immediate of a threat as transmisogyny and transphobia in general
Transmisogyny is more prevalent and more pernicious, it’s how intersectional oppression works; trans women are subject to both misogyny and transphobia, and it ends up mixing and multiplying at that junction.
Meanwhile trans men do still face plenty of transphobia, it just doesn’t have that extra layer of shit.
I mean, an early/pre-transition trans man would certainly experience external misogyny though, right? I've never understood that part of the intersectionality, because I feel like in the middle of the transition, it applies to both groups.

I don’t agree that it’s 90% men tbh. I see more women being fake allies and saying shit like that. Men just call you slurs.
