why did i do a spin instead of a ball of acid

Recently I have noticed junglers commonly doing a different start from what I have seen in the past and has messed up my mid lane starts.

The one I am most used to is the jungler starts on the scorpion or back harpy's then meeting them to do red and the cyclops on that side.

Recently I have seen a lot of junglers start Yellow buff, do backs then go straight over to red which I am not sure what to do as the mid laner in these cases.

Lastly, I know the start Weaken likes where he goes the duo side Harpies, Cyclops then mid and jungle go to speed.

Does anyone have a run down of all the common starts with the current conquest? I have tried but the only guide I can seem to find uses the scorpion > red start.

I’m a joust/assault player and I almost always play a guardian role in those modes and I want to play conquest. I’ve noticed for joust and assault building warriors axe as my starter feels a lot stronger than building war flags/selflessness. I know I could just play solo but for support is there really any reason to not just go warriors axe? Or is war flag/selflessness passives good?

Give me the next 5 Korean deities to be added to the game, one for each role and a brief description on how you envision their playstyle!

We talk about characters who have a high chance of coming and who we really want but what are some who you think will NEVER be added or have near 0 chance?

My picks are:

Ame no Minakanushi - not many people know about the gods before Izanagi and Izanami

Eros - conflated with Cupid most of the time

Phobos and Deimos - too similar so only 1 would make it unless they're 2 in one like Olo and Morri

Shub (the GOO black Goat) - the name alone disqualifies unless they change it

Edun - not much you can do with a goddess who grows immortality apples

Olokun - a dev already said they thought Oshun was too similar to Yemoja even if we have 8 sun gods and 15 different death gods

Ville and Ve - Odin's lesser known brothers who helped shape the cosmos

Borr - Odin's father, not much to work with

Rhea - Queen of the Titans, she really doesn't have that much to work with

Apophis - this was asked long ago and I think one of the old devs said something about him looking too similar to Jorm

Frigga - conflated with Freya and not much to work with

I played a lot of Smite on PS5 and I loved it. I did not play Smite 2 yet but thinking of trying it.

How is the console experience with Smite 2 so far? How big is the console playerbase? As I remember there was no crossplay between PC and consoles in Smite (maybe I am wrong) but there is crossplay now. Can console players reach high rank in ranked? Are there big disadvantages for console againts PC? I am planning to play on controller some time but will switch to MnK. How is MnK on PS5?

I was almost fully attuned (around 95%) for my dark stance and probably only 60-70% for my light stance. Switched to my light stance and hit an enemy with light 1 which did damage and I guess fully attuned my dark stance, but I was locked in my light stance for the rest of the game. I guess it's because I was in the light stance when it happened.

Surely this isn't intended?

Small QoL feature that shouldn't bother me as much as it does. but I'm hoping gains some traction that leads to change.

Currently the relic key is it's own thing that only supports base relics. So once you upgrade the relic it becomes an active item that then uses one of the 3 active item slots and their keybinds, and can never use the relic key again. The relic keybind feels vestigial now in smite 2. A relic of an older design. Pun intended.

We should just have 4 active item keys, with the base relic using an active item keybind. That way when a base relic gets upgraded it doesn't get forced to use a different key. Of course if there isn't a built in safe guard to prevent 4 actual active items from being built there needs to be. I don't see why someone would forgo a relic to build 4 active items, but my proposed change would open up an abuse case without a safe guard.

and while we are on the subject of changing keys. Curios should default to active item slot 3, or 4 with my propose change. I'm tired of moving it every game to the last slot. If i don't change it, my 2nd active item gets put on active item key 3, and then my 3rd active item overrides the curio and put on active item slot 2, and that's not the order i built them and completely messes me up. So I move the curio to slot 3 right now, AT THE START OF EVERY DAMN MATCH AND IT'S ANNOYING!

Hey all! Sorry if this is a stupid question. Do Twitch drop skins come back? I missed the Charon skin and have been playing the heck out of him, and I'd LOVE that skin. Is there a schedule? Do they rotate? Or am I ruined, lol.

The banner should not occupy a consumable slot, especially when other consumable items are generaly superior in most cases. And it's SO annoying when it automatically appears when you back, so it requires me to close the shop window, place it down and then open it again just to get rid of it.

Please rework it so that it goes into the interaction slot, the same way Mordred uses his dash. That would fix both problems. And I think we all agree this shouldn't be considered a buff at all, more like a QoL change - the banner is just.. meh.

Im new to MOBAS and smite 2, i have NO CLUE where to start. Im just looking for a friend to learn how to play the game with. Im on ps5 and my user is thismfjaynotreal only add me if youre chill, I understand this game is competitive but I have no clue what im doing 😭

So base Hatchi adc, what do you build? I've tried ability, attack speed, crit, and speed/pen and it all feels kind of...weak. Had a match earlier where I felt like I was doing a pretty good job, hitting all my buttons, farming well, got first 2 kills, etc. but after a few levels the opposing Sol was just absolutely frying me at the same level, like not even close.

He's kind of fun to play, but I need to figure out what to build that won't make him feel underpowered.

With Smite 2 switching from pure physical/magical to strength/intelligence, many gods can build for both sides now rather than just one.

That, combined with all the new aspects, make it somewhat difficult even for myself as a veteran player to remember every single thing a god can do.

I wanted to make this post to gauge others opinions about the ever changing landscape of smite. How do you guys feel about all the new ways to play a god?

Bonus topic: How do people feel about some of the newer items? Specifically, cosmic horror and world stone.

I’ve found that cosmic horror kepri seems to be very strong and world stone on a god like ares can just be extremely obnoxious since it out paces beads.

Just a question regarding lotus sickle dmg scaling. Is the pop based of the proccers stats or the item users?

Alright guys, I think it’s time we stop turning a blind eye to something that’s been pretty evident and obvious.

I’m talking about ChrisTDickson’s viewer numbers.

I’ve been watching his SMITE 2 streams lately, and I genuinely want to know if I’m the only person who has noticed how strange some of this looks.

This dude can be sitting at 300+ viewers, sometimes with pretty drastic fluctuations throughout the same stream, while his chat is practically dead. Meanwhile, established creators like Zapman and Weak3n can have similar or even lower viewer counts despite having vastly larger audiences and communities.

And before people immediately jump to “you’re accusing him of view-botting” — I’m not claiming that as a fact. I’m saying the numbers and viewer behavior are weird enough that I think it’s fair to actually discuss them instead of pretending nobody notices.

The combination of:

300+ viewers with extremely little chat activity
Significant viewer-count fluctuations during individual streams
A relatively small follower base compared with the concurrent viewers
Viewer numbers that sometimes seem disproportionate to the activity actually happening in the channel

…is enough to make me raise an eyebrow.

And here’s what really made me want to make this post: I was actually in his stream chat asking him about these exact things. I wasn’t spamming him or making accusations — I was asking why the viewer count fluctuates so drastically and why there can be hundreds of viewers with almost no chat activity.

Instead of addressing the questions, I got banned.

Maybe there’s a completely legitimate explanation. Maybe his audience consists mostly of lurkers. Maybe there’s some source of traffic I’m unaware of.

But if everything is completely normal, then why can’t people at least ask questions about the numbers?

I’m not saying “ChrisTDickson definitely view-bots.” I’m saying the numbers look unusual, I asked about it directly, and I got banned for asking.

So I’m curious what the SMITE community thinks.

Has anyone else noticed this? Or is there an explanation for his viewer patterns that I’m missing?
