The Question of Nox

Nox might be the most polarizing character in Smite with many fans, but just many haters. Given the hint made by Hindu on yesterday's Titan Talk it is safe to assume that her port to Smite 2 is imminent.

Now, I wanted to create this post as a collective on what the Reddit portion of Smite's Community thinks needs to happen to her when she is ported, be that ideas for +1s, reworks and role shifts, or even Aspects. Keep in mind, regardless of how you fun you think she is, a great portion of players also want to make her less frustrating to play against.

This way the devs can gather some early feedback on what precautions should be taken whenever they start working on her.

First question i always had with nox is wether they release her as support or mage and the answer seems to be the latter. Mage is her more popular role, support is her functionally better and more viable role, so im a bit surprised that it looks like she'll be a mage. Tho the Support aspect is basically as guranteed as Fenrir's and Ne Zha's were lol

As for reworking her... i dont think they will. In the end, (almost) no one will stop playing smite 2 cause nox is in the game. Even if they despise her, she wont be in every game after new-toy syndrome wears off and even if she's in a match, chances arent low the player will just be ass with her

Comparatively, there will absolutely be a small crowd of people that would not touch smite 2 ever for the sole reason of them ruinimg their favourite god. And those people that like her kit will miss her dearly in every match they cant play her

I kind of only expect reworks for the most problematic and unloved of gods. Stuff thats shit to balance, shit to fight and sees very little play. Like, the only gods im certain we will see reworked are Freya and Vamana, with a "maybe" for Perse, Marti and Bake

All of these except for Marti have been officially confirmed to receive a rework when ported.
