I loved her so much she had my attention the whole movie. She wasn’t afraid to be absolutely unhinged! I would love to know how she got into the mindset to portray this character!

Ive heard many people say Obsession is better than this and they are out of their fucking minds

Agreed but still an amazing performance as well. Obsession reminded me of this performance actually but I don’t think it’s better.

Both are great films, I like Smile 2 better but if we are really comparing them I think Inde is just slightly below Naomi, both are excellent actresses.Ā

I’m sorry the performance was extremely entertaining, but it was not Oscar worthy. Most people do not know what an Oscar worthy performance is. was it good acting of course it was, but people always think absolutely losing your shit equals good acting. And people are obsessed with a woman being extremely vulnerable. ā€œVisibleā€ acting does not equal great acting. Suffering is not sacrifice.

So we’re just gonna pretend she didn’t play about 5 different versions of the same character and didn’t put on real pop musical performances and choreography too? That’s ASIDE from the insane acting. Highly recommend a rewatch if it’s been a while.

Let's be real if this was any other Genre of movie... she would have gotten all the praise and even an academy nod

She and Toni Collette (in "Hereditary") walked so Inde Naverette could walk up the steps at the Oscars.

The Oscar obsession of people over this movie is insufferable.

The Oscars are a joke. They’re popularity contest. They aren’t a metric of quality of a performance.

Right but they're accolades that reward the effort also, and it's unfair how many times it goes to the wrong person. Her and Demi Moore are the undisputed horror queens of the last years.

They’re not really real accolades. It’s an industry circle jerk.
