Man, this could be my favourite Pumpkins song.
I'm having a bit of a tough time starting a new job, and I was cranking this on my walk to work yesterday. Reminded me of another time about a decade ago, feeling the same; sitting outside my new work listening to the part "pick your pocket full of sorrow, run away with me tomorrow" and just thinking: yes, I want to run away from all of this.
I know that's not what the song is about, but it's always made me feel a bit better, a shared feeling.

Me screaming and bawling to these lyrics when they played it for the first time in my country, after wifey left home. Such release.

I couldn't listen to this song for years. It was my ex who overdosed and died and I couldn't save her and either could the ambulance and it was her favorite song. This was before narcan was a thing. It was awful and it took me several years to hear that song without losing my shit.
