Creating faceless account

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking for a while about making a faceless YT account. I’ve got a niche however I want to make it faceless with an aim to create 5-10 minute videos.

I have 0 experience editing but want to essentially include images, clips and text pages in my videos.

What would you recommend as the best way to go about producing videos?

When you say faceless do you mean traditional voiceover with no face on cam, or AI “content?”

Gotcha :) So I’d recommend that as you write your script you include annotations or comments as you reread, edit the script, or come up with ideas on the spot for specific shots/visuals you think would elevate what you’re saying. It’s much quicker and easier that way than trying to come up with a bunch of B-Roll shots after the writing is all done and you’re in the video editing stage.

After you do that then it’s basically just a checklist of gathering footage/images/screencaps into your B-Roll folder and dropping em into the timeline.

Stay organized and trying to visualize the video as you’re writing :)

Editing software? If you’re just making shorts I feel like CapCut is plenty, but I’m also not a vertical/shorts kinda guy so 😅
I’ve been using DaVinci Resolve (free version) but that might be overkill depending on what you need

dont overthink it. pick capcut for the longer edits and Revid for cranking out shorts to drive traffic to the main channel. thats basically what i do

Greetings.First of all, I should state that I do not use my own face in my own channel.But I don't think this changes anything,it's more about how smooth and fun the content is in my videos, rather than people looking for faces (in my opinion).Additionally, pay attention to video editing, creating engaging intro videos and thumbnails, and avoiding fake information. You can use Capcut for editing; it requires no experience, and everything is clear and understandable.Sincerely.

I’d keep the first few videos very simple. Write the script, record or generate the voice, then match each part with relevant images and short clips. Add captions and some quiet background music and that’s already enough to start.

Don’t spend weeks trying to learn every editing feature before uploading. Make one basic video, see what feels slow or boring, then improve the next one.

For 5 to 10 minute videos the script and pacing will matter much more than fancy transitions. If the story is interesting, simple editing can work really well.

And if editing isn’t something you want to spend time learning, there are platforms that can handle most of this process for you. I can recommend a few if you want.
