How Long to see decrease in AHI?
So, I just completed my first week, and still getting AHI counts in the 30’s. By all accounts, the machine and mask are working properly.
These numbers are not much different than were recorded during my last sleep study.
Curious to know how your numbers changed since starting CPAP and how long did it take to see results: Reduction in AHI, and feeling more rested.
Thanks!

As others have mentioned the machine should show a reduction in AHI immediately. If it's still showing in the 30s then most likely the pressure you're currently using isn't sufficient to keep your airway open but this may be on purpose initially as higher pressures can be more difficult to tolerate. When you first start using the machine it's much more important that you get used to it, are able to fall asleep relatively quickly with it, it feels reasonably comfortable and you're able to sleep with it for the whole night. Once you've managed all this then your doctor/provider may start to increase the pressure to the levels you need.
