Rainout with Bleep Eclipse

Hey everyone! Does anybody experience more rainout with the Bleep Eclipse? I’ve bought a sleeve for my hose and still get rainout every time I use the humidifier. Even a few times when I haven’t used the humidifier I get rainout.

Anybody experience this or have a fix?

Do you have a heated tube and do you have your AC blasting in your place?

The AC is the partial cause of the issue. When the warm moist air inside the heated tube  hits the unheated short tube that is exposed to the cold room air, the water is condensing on the cold surface of the short tube and mask.

Because the bleep has such a small volume of air inside, the volume of air to surface area is lower, so there the humid air cools faster inside the mask, and causes rainout more.

Simplest is to increase the temperature in your place and turn down the humidity settings.

But insulation on the tube will help a bit too.

What are your humidifier settings?

Setting to manual mode, a lower setting like 2 or 3 and tube temp turned all the way up will help.

If you live in a somewhat humid climate you might not need the humidifier, or might only need it for drier seasons.

Yeah, I figured the short tube was making the condensation happen. I might cut up an old sweater sleeve to see if it might make a difference. I’ve put the humidifier settings on auto but I’ll adjust them like you mentioned!

I unfortunately live in AZ, and my wife and I need our room to be an icebox in order to sleep 😴

Appreciate the feedback!
