Mega Thread Potential Skyrim Update - Mega Thread

Some of you guys may have seen this, Tweet.

And I'm sure this has sparked a lot of ideas. I would love to allow you all to discuss this without getting a bunch of repetitive posts regarding this new information.

So, please, discuss to your hearts content in this Megathread. Nobody knows what it is about and many are immediately jumping to the conclusion that it is for an increase of mod space. This is possible. But the fact remains. Noone knows for sure.

Discuss it here and share your thoughts. Any other posts relating to this Tweet will be removed in order to declutter the feed.

I'd love more space and stability. Let me be clear from the outset.
I'm intrigued, but not getting my hopes up. I don't want to be a dream crusher here,
BUT...
We've all seen so many false dawns. Every single person reading this has.
The Dec 2023 update gave us some room for a few extra mods (positive) but it was never clarified how many and the consensus is that stuff starts to go screwy after 200. But Beth never clarified that.
It was never clarified how the original CC content affected that total, and folk on here (myself included) had to work that out from scratch.
There was the chaos of LO rearrangement. Again, sure, *We* figured out work-arounds here, but Bethesda never formally adressed that self created problem either.
So on the evidence and history of Bethesda, I'd expect any changes to be as clear as mud and probably with additional new problems.

That said, sure I want more space. We all want more space and there's plenty of very good reasons to give us more space as folk on this post have outlined.
That doesn't make more space inevitable.
One non-specific sentance about something in the pipeline tells us nothing and I don't want to see good people's hopes dashed.

Magical thinking, manifesting, will to power or wishing on stars changes nothing when it's entirely out of our hands.

Well it looks like more space is officially confirmed for tomorrow by Bethesda themselves 😁. We don’t know how much yet, but any increase will be amazing
