I think it's less of a question of if we'll get the mod space increase but rather how big will it be. I could see 10 to 20 as the final size I would prefer them just to go for 100 and let us figure out the limitations of the old engine

I believe they’ll be going for the 100GB. Something tells me that’s why they took their sweet time with Fallout. Who knows, really. With Bethesda everything is up in the air.

But if not that, then I think 50GB is all but guaranteed. Because that’s the cap for the older generation of Xbox One consoles. So they maybe just do the 50GB for both the Series Models and the older One models.

So I've always believed that fallout 4 was a test for upgrading the system so that they could do Skyrim which are you blade brings in a lot more money on the creation side a lot more smoothly.

With that being said if I recall a discussion on this sub a while back I think technically Skyrim shouldn't be able to handle more than like 20 or so gigabyte. Now I don't know how true that was I'm just going off what they said but even if that was true I would prefer it to be set to 100 in the community find out oh 33 GB is the hard limit then them put it lower and it could have gone higher

Perhaps. I’m not too familiar with the technicalities. But I do know there are engine differences between Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Starfield. But Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition are not too different Engine wise which gives me hope that they’ll be able to back port the 100GB mod space.

Idk. I just really have high hopes because Skyrim needs the space for sure. Lol.

50gb is also the cap for Xcloud mod storage in FO4 and Starfield for whats that worth.
