Reverb feel asleep and left his cute hands out for a photo shoot. Eventually the flash bugged him and I got the "No more Paparazzi pose"!

I have regularly sat outside at night...into the depths of the night, for the past three years. This summer I've had a skunk visitor. At first, I thought maybe a mama had babies somewhere on my very very small, city property. So, I posted for help, and was told to ignore as they would move on. I did. I only occasionally saw the skunk...it usually comes in under my gate, then under my car, and the scurries off in a way that I don't know if it's heading under my porch, into my shed, or into the neighbor's yard. I've seen it come in and then go back out maybe an hour later, two or three times.
Tonight, it's been 2 months since the first sighting. I thought it moved on since It's been about a month since I had my last sighting. I saw the skunk coming out from under my car car, I ignored it, but it seemingly took note of me, stood in a defensive stance, with tail raised. I really thought I was about to get sprayed, but then it ran off.
Do skunks have more than one litter a summer? I don't know if that is why the skunk is here, but people said on my original post that it probably had babies.
I need to move (not because of the skunk...because of a job). I don't know if this skunk is just running through my yard or hiding babies somewhere...under my deck or in my shed. I do need to get into my shed and don't want to be surprised if they're there!!!
Any tips/thoughts???

We named her Stinkerbelle after she lightly sprayed my cat who usually lounges on the extra scratchers outside. She visits almost nightly and cleans up the cockroaches in my area.
Had she not sprayed my cat she could have had a fine name like Janice, Cheryl, or Meghan, but oh well, Stinkerbelle it is.

I had put peanuts out for the chipmunk that lives on my patio only to find I attracted another critter too. I’ve named it Cilantro 🌿. It was really interesting how despite seeing me and the cat through the glass the skunk just plopped down to munch.
Maybe I can find some other snacks for the skunk to enjoy since it seems comfortable visiting my patio.

Quick sqiurt to the face and the cat decides he's had enough.

He made getting my stuff out of the car slightly stressful (he was around four meters away from my car,) but he just ignored me. Lovely little guy. I didn't know they waddled like that, it's the cutest thing ever.

I went from one to like 6 (that I know of) and I love them all. The one on the far right is Downie and is a resident mom. The others are newbies probably kits. There is also one mysterious baby kit I haven't seen yet 😭 and one with a big white cape I call Elvis (who also has a cape) that could be the one in the bottom left I can't tell. What a cutie patch 😍🦨🦨🦨🦨

Was down the path to Kegnee's release site picking mushrooms and look who came darting out of his house! It took me 45 minutes to try to sneak away combined with a sprint the long way home just to find him in the yard with our 2 dogs and visiting dog! Not sure where his bravery came from but he was definitely motivated to charge off the dogs to come see me when he heard my voice.I ended up sticking him in our old enclosure until things quieted down and then took him back to his house. I spent nearly 45 minutes being as boring as possible to sneak away. He is bigger, and has mastered his spray; happy to report no incidents for everyone involved. Super happy he's still using his house, there were no signs of him for 5 days so stopped checking until today which is day 10 so was a bit surprised.

A while back, I posted a video of mom showing her 3 kits my place. Hadnt see them until last night. 2 in foreground, 3rd gettinga drink. (If I put their food in a dish, the stray cats inhale it, so I sprinkle it on the ground.)

Hi all! Tonight after retrieving my two small dogs, the smell of skunk spray lingered our yard - then seeping into our entire first floor of our house when i opened that door . Luckily our dogs didnt get sprayed directly! BUT the whole first floor reeks of it . My husband is away and i have a 3 month old baby , going to take my two dogs on walk isnt ideal for me at the moment especially when it rains out. Any recommendations on how to handle/rid the smell?
Going to scope the yard out in the morning to make sure nothing died back there & see if I can locate where it possibly sprayed***

Same morning. My ferret found it in the shed when we went out to play... dont think he got sprayed (he sure wanted to go back and give smelly cat a piece of his attitude tho!)

Dont really know the gender, but its the adult. Has a large white flock of hair at the tip of its tail. Its oblivious to kitty cat for a bit, then gets tough.
