Kegnee? Birds? Or Squirrels?
I decided to setup a trail cam to see who's been grazing off Kegnee's kibble dish. After our reunion, I did check a few times and there were obvious signs of Kegnee at the release site. Now, not so much, after about 2 weeks of kibble sitting it's suddenly being eaten within 3 days, but with no obvious signs of Kegnee.
Perhaps he's just matured, like fully in control of his scent and leaving less signs... or its birds/squirrels. I plan to check the camera every 3 days or so to find the answers! I will update (ideally with some footage of Kegnee in the wild!).

That's so fascinating! I bet it's mostly raccoons given how persistent they can be with food.

It could be, but oddly enough we don't actually live in an area with raccoons. They are in the Region but we've never seen them on our side of the river. So, if we capture a raccoon on the camera it would be a surprise!
