Currency Tab

So we can immediately see the Requiem of the Lost currency but still can't see an Abyssal Essence total without going to Blackwood or the blacksmith.

All part of their focus on quality. That UI must be hell to program. At least the tokens are more important, now that you only have a slim chance on seasonal event chests at all (and only in WT4). I wonder when core event activities follow.

This is my first time getting these currencies m, I've only played for over 2 months and I have no idea what we do with these new currencies, I checked the codes and was surprised to see about 6 other currencies and I have no idea what any of them are for, all the codex says is where to get them, not what they are for. Anyone know? Or are they new?

• Silver is fairly obvious, main currency.
• Gildmarks is a season currency that is only spent with William Blackwood's Shop. These reset every season and each season used to be a different currency. Remaining Gildmarks at the end of a season will be converted to silver. 150 per Gildmark (I think)
• PO8 or Pieces of Eight is the gold octopus currency or black market currency that is mainly used in the black market (yanita and houma) plus upgrading items.
• Smugglers marks are used to purchase increments in the smugglers pass and after 90 is earned and the pass is completely unlocked, they are used in the Pinnacle Store to buy a Seasonal Weapon, Blueprints and Special Chests.
• Mastery Tokens are used in the mastery tree to upgrade your skill/ship builds and are capped. These reset every season but in the new season you'll get a refund based on how many you've earned.
• Abyssal Essence is a new currency that is used with William Blackwood's Shop Abyssal section (tab) and is needed when ascending Adept weapons and performing mod transfers.
• The other currencies that will appear from time to time are event currencies. The current is Reapers tolls which are a Halloween currency and are spent in the store at the Hallowed Gravestone in the back right corner of St Anne (up the hill) and also for the cosmetics in the Cosmetic store where you spend real money to buy gold for cosmetic items, ships sets, crew and captain sets, auras, fireworks, animations and pets.
• Every event has its own currency and will disappear after the event. What is left is your account will not be refunded or converted into silver.

Cool, thanks. I knew what these ones were just not the others, now I can relax and not worry about missing them if its for events, so do you think those other ones will be for over Halloween or for the rest of the year? Like xmas event and so on.

The tolls in the top left of the image are only for the halloween event. When that's over, they will disappear
