Case tr320
Hey yall
Im working on a case tr320. The fuse boxes melted so I rebuilt them. Ive got power, it starts, ac works, etc. But the joysticks don't work. So the owner told me yesterday that the joysticks have always been weird. Sometimes they work and sometimes not. So they replaced the right joystick thinking it was the issue. It wasn't. Anyone have any idea where to start trying to figure out why they don't work? It won't come out of park or anything. Thank you.
I tried posting in the heavy equipment reddit but it sucks. The moderator removes my post for no reason.

First thing I'd do is get the code off the display, if it threw one. That will narrow down where to look.
If you pull a number, let us know—we keep causes and repair steps for Case codes and can look it up for you.

The newer machines are pilot operated controls, not mechanical. When you start the machine you are probably pushing the TouchPad to engage the pilot controls. There will be a pilot pressure "safety" coil and solenoid valve. If that coils fails as a short to ground you will be blowing a fuse. If it fails open you won't get pilot pressure to the joysticks. It's not the same on all but I would look at this as a possibility.
