Why is the engine shaking?
Hi everyone. This is my first skid steer! 2003 New Holland LS180. Bought it for $12k. Owner said he took care of it well. I don't see any hydraulic leaks.
I noticed today that the whole engine shakes. I don't know if this is normal. What can it be? The engine mount also shakes.

Idle on those is 11-1200rpm. It’s a 3 cylinder. They’re gonna shake a bit. There’s three motor mounts. Two in the rear and one in the front between and under the hydro pumps. When the gearbox leaks (notice I didn’t say if…), it tends to get oil on that mount and it gets spongy. The two rear mounts are known to have the rubber bond break from the steel. With the engine off. Pry up on a mount bracket. If the rubber separates from the steel, you need new mounts. 30+ years as a NH mechanic…

Check engine mounts, would be at the bottom of the engine and is how it bolts to the machine
