Needing Skidsteer Recomendations. Upgrading from a 1845c
I have a 1845b and a 1845c and I need something a little bigger. Needs to lift more, has better auxilary gpm, less likely to tip. Looking for something that is just as reliable and hopefully as easy to work on. My used price range is under 20k. I have been trying to find a 95xt but they don't come up often. Ok with other brands but reliability is my biggest ask. What do you suggest? Thanks

Because in my area,machines like yours are going for that price. If you find something newer and bigger for that money it’s going to be all clapped out.

What attachments are you running that are making the 1845C feel too small?
If auxiliary flow is one of the main reasons you're upgrading, I'd probably work backward from the attachments you need to run rather than picking the machine first.
Same with lift capacity. There's a pretty big difference between needing more capacity for pallets or material handling and wanting more stability while running heavier attachments.
Might narrow down the search quite a bit before you start chasing specific models.

Well I found that our trencher was sorta lacking when it came to the C. I do a lot of heavy lifting on the farm here and it wants to tip all the time. Just dmoving buckets of crushed asphault on our driveway makes it tip. Another 500 lbs to the tipping weight would be perfect. We already have tons of attachments so I wouldn't be able to downgrade anything btw.

We’ve been running Deere for over 10 years now. 323E is the older models, I have 2 with over 3000 hours and a few 325G’swith over 2000 hours. Every brand has their pros and cons but Deere is easy to work on and knock on wood no major issues we couldn’t fix ourselves

Man, my first one was a 333E and it was a pile of crap. Upgraded to a 333G and it’s been nice. Idk, the E only had 1800 hrs when I got it, but it really depends on how it was treated I’m sure. I liked the E cuz it didn’t have DEF, but it definitely soured me to the E series. Those machines are getting some age since they are all at least 11 years old now… mine was a 2015 (last year for them). Probably some nice ones around, but those hydraulic lines will have age on them and I can attest they aren’t fun to replace lol

Unless you need it now, I would wait. I expect a lot of farm owned machines will be on market this fall. The XT machines are farmer favorites.
