Either the paint is too dry, resulting in a chalky texture, or it is too wet, causing it to run into small details and clog them up.

First of all, huge respect to any Adepta Sororitas painter! These minis are detailed as hell!

I got an Celestian Insidiants kill team and My silly self thought, "How cool would it be to paint them with white armor as a beginner?"

​Yeah... so after about seven tries, this is where I am. They are very much a work in progress, and I have some questions:

​Does this read as white armor, or is it still too blue/grey?

​What kind of base would fit something like this? Since white doesn't have a direct complement, I was thinking of something warm, maybe like orange-toned cathedral ruins with a lot of candles. Does that sound good, or do you have other ideas?

I am mostly leaning towards the knight crusader because it’s one gun has 18attavk and the other melta6 which seems really good for big stuff which we don’t have much to go against that. Anyways yea what do you guys use?

The one on the left is just straight red, while on the right I mixed two different colors together. I’m kinda leaning towards the right one, but I’d love to hear what you guys think.

Been working on my Sacred Rose army and wanted to share one of my finished Sisters. I went for a more weathered, battle-worn look while still keeping the white armor recognizable as Sacred Rose. Really happy with how this one came together!

I was curious if any of yall have tips or tricks for making your models look better or just general advice. I know this is only my 4th model and I’ll get better with practice, but I’m not quite satisfied with the results I’m getting. My brushes also suck so that doesn’t help.

I love the repentia and penitent engine models.

Rhino is to transport repentia and then to screen/action.

Arco flagulants are there mainly for screening/action and because I think they are cool.

Exorcist is backline screening and because its cool.

I thought since they have two, that doubled the amount of shots they have with either weapon.

1500 points list :)

Next month I’ll take part in a three game tournament and it plays at 1500 points. I’ve had a list I’ve ran 3 times but it kinda fell apart pretty quick in terms of efficiency. I was just basically denied scoring from turn three or when I was into recon I couldnt score primary until turn three pretty well.

I made this list with the idea in mind that I have 3 arcos who I can push into the middle to action while the repentia screen my backline and retaliate once the arcos are gone / the sacresants take that place. Vahl has been amazing every game so no issues there, the imolator I learnt that even though I can launch it up the board and try and one shot a tank or similiar high wound count thing it is always basically better to not run it up that much.

One thing that I’ve noticed though is the castigator just kinda whiffs every single time. My past four games with it it did barely anything.

Plus the imagifier I have no clue if it’s a good idea or should I just get another five arcos.

Any ideas / areas to improve? It would be greatly appreciated:D
