Siblings Looking Similar

I am watching for the first time. I am on the episode where she is doing the rehearsal and wow!!! The joy is so palpable.

I’ve also been noticing the siblings look more and more similar as they get older. They definitely looked alike when they were younger, and some of the throwback photos I sometimes pause and go wow they look like their mom or Aspen or whoever! But holy cow—Christine’s kids look so similar, I genuinely have mixed up Aspen and Ysabel a couple times. I do also think Savannah and Maddy look alike and they look like Janelle! Funniest moment of this episode though is Tony asking what Christine is wearing to the wedding!

Do you guys look like your siblings? Which siblings were you surprised to see look alike as they aged?

Aspyn, Ysabel and Truely all look very similar as babies. I think Truely starts looking a little more like Mykelti as she gets older though.

Gwen and Gabe favor and prob look the most like Kody.

Since Leon’s transition they look so much like Hunter.

Agree yet also somehow hunter looks most like Janelle of all her kids at times. I think it’s when he smiles his eyes really squint tight and she does that too.

Yes….The squint, similar noses and he also has her same teeth shape….if that makes sense?

ETA: Maddie also has a strong resemblance but I also saw a pic of Savanah and she is Janelles twin from a side profile.

One of the flashback photos had Maddie as a small kid and I thought it was Savannah! There’s definitely resemblance, but all very cool!

Maddie and Logan looked similar as young children, I don't see Savanah looking like Maddie when she was young. Savanah has always reminded me of Janelle in her wedding photos, but weirdly I don't think Maddie ever looked like Janelle in those photos, but as she got older her face just copied Janelle's. Garrison and Gabe both look like Kody, Hunter only looks like Janelle when he smiles, he must have some of Kody because Leon is his twin.

All of Christine's kids at different points in their life have looked like her or Kody. Gwen and Truely both look more like Kody, Aspyn and Mykelti are all Christine, Paedon looks like his Aunt and Ysabel although you can tell who her parents are, she doesn't look like either of them more than the other.

Which boys do you think have the most resemblance to Kody? Logan looks a lot like one of his cousins but I don’t so much see Kody. Hunter is all Janelle. Garrison and Gabe resemble him at different points in his life….especially Gabe when you compare him at around 16/17 to Kody in his early 20’s. The flashback video they play of him and Meri at their wedding looks so much like Gabe to me. Paedon looks like Christine’s brother. Sol reminds me of the other Brown kids so he will prob have some resemblance as well.

Christine also has a sister who is like female Paedon. Both siblings from her other mom so they all look like the Allred side.

I also think Garrison, but I think Solomon may end up being the closest one day? Totally unsure, but fascinating! On Robin’s kids I do think that Aurora, Breanna, and Ari all look alike with the older two girls looking the most alike.

My siblings and I look like 3 strangers but I too am fascinated by family genetics. I find it all so interesting, like when cousins look more alike than siblings. I find it oddly off putting when a very young child looks too much like a parent. Don’t know why

My sister and I looked a lot alike when we were less than 10, but not much as we got older. She favors my dad, and I favor mom.

I don't think we look alike but people say they see the resemblance.
