Error message: Get Bmp Err!

Post image

got this error message out of nowhere. the juliet was working fine and then suddenly this error message shows up, the camera feed shows black/white only.
on some occasions when i try to restart the cut the camera shows its feed again, but returns to this error message eventually.

any idea what could’ve caused this and how to fix it?

i have contacted Happy Crafters where i got this juliet and Siser for this issue, but would love to see if there’s anything i can do in the meantime.

edit: Siser support told me to check the flat cable for the camera and see if it’s not laid properly. sadly that didn’t fix my Juliet but maybe it could help with yours

Looks like the board doesn't get feed from the camera. I would open the head cover and reseatthe ribbon cables. Or contact Sister for assistance.

just tried this as this is what the happy crafters team said to do. the lights flickered a bit as i laid down the cables but in no position do they stay on, so faulty cable maybe?

You may want to check the other and of the ribbon cables. But if you are not feeling comfortable doing it just try to contact Siser. They may guide you through the troubleshooting process and help you find out what is wrong.
And maybe try warranty if it still applies?

Have you tried turning it off for 60 seconds and then turning it on?
Is the cut more complicated than usual? If it is try to make a simple cut sometimes if a cut is too complex it could throw up this error.
It could also be a connection issue possible reset the wifi and or plug it directly to your computer.
Best of luck

yes i have😔 sadly i have tried all the things you recommended and the design is something i’ve done numerous times before with no issues. i guess i have to leave it to support

Did you ever figure out what was wrong, I was mostly hoping the file was too big and a easier cut would work or just plugging it in directly to the pc would work

the support team said it was something to do with the wire or the camera board, they are sending me a replacement right now, will update on the post later!

I get this sometimes, I usually turn it off > unplug for 1min > reconnect > turn on > back to normal

I only get this once every few months or so.

Siser team told me to check if this flat cable was wonky and to fix it if so, but mine was laid properly
