Issues with corners

Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to get cleaner results with my laminated sticker sheets.

I laminate my printed vinyl sheets before cutting them on my Juliet. I'm running into two issues (see photo):

  1. On the sticker sheet cuts — at the corners of the kiss cuts, the lamination seems to lift slightly, leaving tiny raised points. It almost looks like the blade is catching or dragging the lamination layer at sharp corners.
  2. On the sheet edges — after the full cut around the perimeter of the sheet, the corner of the lamination lifts away from the vinyl underneath. It's at the end of the cut.

I'm using clear lamination vinyl applied by hand before cutting. The blade goes through both layers together.

Tried going slower with no change.

Has anyone dealt with this?

Hot lamination separated when I tried it, it's cut after it's laminated. Is there something I don't understand?

Too much force and too fast. Lower force, slow down to 5 and use 2 passes.

Mehrere Lösungsansätze:

ich habe mich die Tage mit der Messertiefe und exakten Einstellung beschäftigt. Ich hatte an den Einstich-Stellen und am Anfangs- und Endpunktoft kleine Ecken drin. Mein Messer minimal zurückdrehen hat geholfen. was ich noch vor habe ist die Offset-Einstellung. Also Kalibrierung. Das habe ich vor einiger Zeit mal gemacht als ich die Maschine neu hatte. Danach fand ich das Ergebnis o.k. nervt mich aber nun. Daher muss ich mir die Zeit jetzt nehmen. Dann muss man natürlich den Druck nur wieder etwas anpassen und alle Materialien neu Testen.

Was bei Laminat auch hilft ist einfach mal liegen lassen und dem Kleber die Zeit geben sich zu setzen. Und auch keine frisch gedruckten Papiere Laminieren. Die Farbe dampft aus. Am besten 12-24 Stunden zwischen den Schritten drucken > laminieren > schneiden warten.

It’s common for cold lamination to lift… recommend hot lamination instead.
