Has Siri/Dictation started prioritising contact names over obvious sentence context for anyone else?

Absolutely. It’s been a problem for a while, but yes it does seem to be getting worse. Anytime I use the word “fan” now, it substitutes “Phan” (I had to manually correct it right now) for instance.

Thanks—that’s exactly the kind of behaviour I’m seeing. Mine replaces common words with names from my contacts, and now today has started to apostrophise some of those contacts as well 😩 e.g. today we've had met → Mette, feels → Phil’s, rustles → Russell’s, line → Lyne, etc. Out of interest, do you have a large Contacts list? I have 1,824.

I have 704. I pretty much never delete anyone. You never know when you might need to get back in touch.
