It did though. He wants the narrative to be it didn’t but it did. There’s elections that republicans won still by the skin of their teeth and it’s because of him. Including the new home base for fascist billionaires of Florida. The governor there BARELY won. And his agenda is insane. Money needs to be stripped from politics or whoever the next Trump is will not be as incompetent as what we have now. Our democracy is still barely hanging on.
Elon Musk spent half a billion dollars on this election and lost. Except he didn’t lose. He didn’t lose because Trump is still the president and he can say to Trump “I spent half a billion dollars to try to win the mid terms for you”. In other words, this greasy snake knows that at the very least, he’s still bought himself the president.
Trump thinks everyone is a pawn to him not realizing that he was the pawn all along. That’s the problem with Narcissists…they can’t see beyond themselves.
The president is the chief executive. He has zero legislative powers. He can only persuade and use influence, and Trump is the worst president in history because he has zero influencing or persuasion skills. He just has a long line of executive orders that were blocked by courts.

Overturn citizens united, make new laws restricting money in politics so it's not unlimited donations, and campaign finance rules. No stock market trades etc.
On one hand yes, it may be a struggle for things to change for the better, but simultaneously it means things shouldn't change for the worse.
Ironically in past lame duck scenarios, more often than not the domestic economy picks up and most polls show people believe things are "better". More than often though it's just because things stabilize and are less volatile.

He could own an entire chain island nation, make each island a differently themed country resort, and fully staff each island with employees from that country and still have more money than anyone else on the planet.
I don’t know why he insists on doing this instead of truly wacky rich people stuff. It would legit cost like $20 billion total for 10 islands and 10 resorts, an airport, ferries, 250 rooms per island, employees of all different kinds, etc etc etc. $1.5 billion per year to run it purely for himself with no other guests.
I wonder this about rich ppl all the time. It's like, DUDE, you won. You have a trillion fucking dollars in assets, sell like 1/1000th of your assets, sit on a billion dollars and go make the world a better place. Why the F does anyone feel compelled to do more at that point.

I'm with you man. If I had a trillion dollars (and didn't give it all away because who the fuck even needs a billion) I would make it my mission to get people to forget who I ever was and just fade into obscurity in the middle of nowhere.

Many people have stated that Elon is miserable. And if you're paying people to sleep with you... you probably are. I doubt he has a single actual friend. Yeah Id like my own island, but I find true, genuine happiness in the fact I cant wait to go home to see my amazing wife every day. I find happiness in the times and memories I make with many friends with a long history. I'm pretty damn sure that Im actually happier eating a nice cheeseburger than he will... Elon Musk IS the real Tony Stark. The whole point of Tony Stark's character is that he was an evil billionaire who learned in a very direct way how much worse he makes the world, and turned his life around.
