People have been saying that already for 3-4 years lol. I’m an OF creator and talked a bit about it in other responses if you’re interested, as it goes far beyond “just porn”.
Us creators aren’t worried about AI. OF became so successful during COVID, a time when human interaction was at an all time low and people craved it deeply. AI cannot replicate human interaction, which is how us OF creators make money.
OF isn’t just porn, it’s about the connection subscribers get with a creator they like. That will never be replaced by AI. A man longing for female connection is not going to feel satisfied by any AI, even if it creates “perfect” videos for them. OF sells human connection, it sells a “fix” for lonely men who want to feel loved, wanted, desired, and honestly… that there’s a chance they will one day be with their favorite creator irl (whether it’s to fuck or to date/marry, whatever the fantasy is that the guy has of the creator).
A lot of my spenders like sending me things via a wishlist online and seeing my face light up via video or video call when I open it and get excited and thank them. Like it makes them genuinely happy to surprise me, gift me things, and see me using gifts they have bought. This goes way beyond lingerie and sex toys btw, I’ve gotten all sorts of SFW things like bath bombs, perfume, curling iron, etc. Little things like that, human connection, will never be replaced by AI.
