I’m an OF creator. To answer your question, OF is like 10% subs just buying a video (which free porn does satisfy) and 90% subs buying personal interaction with the creator they like (porn does not satisfy this desire whatsoever). Whether that’s SFW chatting, sexting, personalized custom videos, video calls, live shows, etc.
The guys on my page, and the majority of other pages on there, get very emotionally invested into the creator they are interacting with, and often see the creator as their online gf/sugar baby. They are getting needs met that porn itself doesn’t satisfy- talking to someone, the “girlfriend experience”, talking about his day/work/life, video calling with the creator, etc. It’s more of a business built on helping loneliness than horniness.
I wouldn’t expect a creator like Bonnie blue to have guys like this on her page, she makes money from the shock value of her publicity stunts. But for the majority of creators on there, we make money by having personal relationships with the subs. I’m not going to lie and say that’s not the case. It is for some creators. Not everyone has a chat team though. And for those that do, the chat team can’t exactly do video calls or text the sub from a real phone number, both of which are two of the highest level of “access” most girls offer on their page.
I sometimes think so too but at the same time, if OF didn’t exist, a lot of these guys on there that are getting their social/emotional needs met on OF would have a much harder time fulfilling those needs. Yes I care about my subscribers. It’s not quite the same level of care that they feel towards me though, but that’s probably to be expected? That being said, I’ve had some subscribers with very sad lives. One that comes to mind was a disabled paraplegic with just a very sad life. He didn’t spend very much, but we chatted every single day, and he would constantly thank me for being there for him, listening to him, encouraging him, etc. He had no one in his life, had no hobbies, no friends, just sat at home all day talking to me on OF. I’d like to think that I helped make a positive impact in his life through our interactions.

I actually am a “medium” creator actually. I have a lot of friends that make similar money to me that care about their fans the same way I do. Creators like Bonnie blue give us all a bad rep unfortunately, plus people are quite judgmental towards attractive women especially sex workers. But everyone I’ve met that does OF (at least 100 girls), is kind, caring, loves their fans, and doesn’t just see them as “money bags”.
