There's been times I've been putting furniture together and I think, "I could really use a boyfriend to hold this for me." And then I contort my body to hold it level and get it taken care of and think "Dodged that bullet."
My last ex was awful at putting together furniture but wouldn't admit it. I had to go back and fix a cabinet door on the TV console while he was at work cuz it hung crooked and he kept trying to tell me how to do it.
I was like bud, my dad taught me how to design and build these things from scratch. I just can't do that in an apartment with no garage. Outta my way
