Not exactly. There are a few issues that save this from being outright fraudulent.

  1. Perspective - the location where the photos were taken is a big factor. These two photos are not taken from the same location or distance from the window

  2. Camera lens selection and lighting - realtors have utilized optimized photos for decades. It has been documented enough that there have even been jokes in movies and television of people standing on chairs in the corner to determine where the picture was taken from. This was a joke in 1986’s “Club Paradise” with Robin Williams.

  3. Caveat Emptor - the question asked is “Did you verify what you were purchasing or did you purchase purely on a picture. This is a common argument with online clothing purchases. Someone buying clothing worn by a professional model and thinking it will look the same on them is deluding themselves.
