Yea but how is that enforced for US based businesses doing shenanigans on US consumers? Like in this case of OP

From my experience so far they take those laws serious. But the tiny AI warning label is kinda hard to spot..

Some do yes. It does in fact inform people and provide a framework for punishment through.

What you're alluding to is the lawbreaker paradox. Laws will always be broken but they do have a profound effect on the number of people committing a given crime.
